A Day in the Life...

When you look over and your 14 year old looks all grown up... When your 12 year old wants half her hair blue and in "space buns"... When same 12 year old has incredible green eyes and is tormenting you to buy her ice cream... When your dog needs a haircut... When you get to see God through the clouds... When your sprinklers break and your lawn dies and your brother comes over and cleans out the filter and fixes the pressure and your mom comes and digs up two sprinklers and replaces them for you because for an unknown reason a dying lawn makes you cry...  

We spent the long holiday (Pioneer Day) weekend at Lava Hot Springs with some neighborhood friends. Lots of swimming, game nights, cook outs, long walks, river time, and lots of sun made for a good weekend! I loved the plants at the hot springs the very most... We  hit the waterpark almost the entire day on Saturday... good times! Jumping off the tallest platform... holy smokes!  It was 32 feet high. I can't believe Dakota did it. I'm pretty sure her and Emery pumped each other up. Once they did it once, they did it again and again, I think at least 7 times on the tallest platform and probably that many on the others...
