Micah Dakota Thanks to my sister for taking these shots.  Turned out super cute! Thanks to my aunt Penny for matching skirts.   It took a while to take this picture.  And it's not even very good... !
These three girls are growing!    Micah is usually calm and mellow.  She's content being held and content lying on her own or with Dakota.  She's an incredible eater and lately eats more than 2 ounces every three hours- a lot for her little body.  At her two week check-up, she is 19 inches long (2.5 more inches than at birth!).  She now weighs 5.3, almost a pound more than what she came home from the hospital at (4.4) and more than her birthweight (4.10)!  She fusses only when hungry (me too) and when she's in her car seat and it's not moving.  She makes incredibly funny faces and stretches so hard it makes the tip of her nose turn a weird white.        Kota is more unpredictable; I'm still trying to figure out her temperament.  She is sometimes restless being on her own and prefers to be held or lay close to Micah.  She is a good eater too and has grown a ton!  She is 18.5 inches (2 more inches than ...

Zoo Day

This weekend my family went to the zoo, minus Tim and I and the babies.  Copper had a ball and it was probably good for her to get out of the house.  I wish we could have taken her.  On the same note, however, it was a nice, relaxing afternoon.  Tim and I played board games.  Sounds dumb but it was fun.  And we didn't get rained on, unlike Copper...

Doll Clothes

We can't believe how tiny these girls are!  Copper's sitter lent us some doll clothes and they fit!  And, to get a little perspective on their size, I laid a fork next to them.  Amazing!
We are so blessed to have these three girls!  Dakota came home the same day I was released, on June 29.  Micah did so well that day and night they released her the next day.  We've had to go to the lab twice for blood work for her, but she's doing just fine.   Kota looks just like  Copper did as a baby, and everyone's told me they (Copper and Kota) look just like Tim.  I've heard a few times that Micah looks like me.  They definitely don't look like each other!  They are both pretty tiny- Kota came home at 4.13 lbs and Micah at 4.4.  Although the difference in weight isn't much, Micah's features are much more petite than Dakota's, making her look a lot smaller.   Happy big sister Copper is definitely adjusting; she's not doing anything we weren't expecting.  She loves them a bit too much sometimes, ignores them most of the time, and cries for our attention if Tim and I are both busy with one baby.  We're realizing that Cop...
