A Day in the Life...

 We have celebrated Copper's birthday all week! This Rockstar child of ours turned 12 on the 8th! Here are 12 wonderful things about Copper. She is humble. She is very patient. She loves to create, whether it be through baking or sewing or crafting or art. She loves space. She loves math and science. She is the best big sister. She is close to God, and it shows in her very being. She is uplifting to others. She has a fantastic smile and laugh. She is an avid reader and loves Harry Potter and pretty much anything else.  She is a good helper. She is the most responsible one in our family, including Tim and i. Haha. I woke her up at 6:00 in the morning on her birthday to enjoy decorations and a donut breakfast. That afternoon, we went to classic skating and enjoyed rollerblading, laser tag, a climbing gym, bounce houses, and everything else they had. She picked Red Robin for dinner and we celebrated her all evening long. And yesterday we had some of her friends over for a luau pa...

 Headed to Amber's family's property near Starvation Reservoir in Duchesne County.  It's about 10 minutes from the one we bought, so it'll be fun!  We had a good time there and are grateful her family lets us in on their family time.  I think there were about 15 kids my girls' ages, so they had a riot and only (semi) got hurt a small amount of times. Plenty of sun, good food, good company, and a whole bunch of dogs and dirt.  Good times! Amber's brother in law had too much to drink, got on a four-wheeler, and threw $120 in ones to all the kids who were chasing him.  All of them walked away with a handful.  I'm not sure how I feel about it overall, but it sure was entertaining! There was also a brisket cook-off and I think it was the best meat I've ever had in my life... Amber's grandpa brought up a trampoline to keep up there; the kids LOVED it!
