Once upon a time on Thanksgiving, Wyatt cut Dakota's hair and she cut his.  His cute calic in the back covers where she cut.  He cut right square in the middle of her forehead, hahahaha.  A week later she came to me, handed me a chunk, and said, "I found my hair!!"  She hates to talk about it and hates when I talk about it, so we all just ignore it and pretend it's always been like that. Once upon a time two weeks ago, Tim was fixing a leak in our bathroom and found some mold, so he tore out the walls and floor, and everything else, and is redoing it from scratch.  New everything- floor, walls, vanity, tub, shower, toilet, all of it.  I'm so grateful he knows how to do things like this, and with what he doesn't know, he researches, tries it out, and asks for help.  He's a super good person.    For awhile, we could see clear down to our living room.  When the kids sat on the couch, Tim and I were upstairs in the bathroom findi...

The Polar Express

This past week we went with my parents and Ty and Amber to Heber Valley Railroad's Polar Express.  It was the most fun we've had in such a long time and definitely worth every penny!  We took an hour or so train ride to the North Pole and us first class train riders were served cookies, hot cocoa, dance and sing offs, a visit from Elvis (Blue Christmas musical), games from elves, and a long visit with Santa. Plus, a bonus gift at the end of a souvenir mug.  We loved every second of it!

The best place to find Santa is Cabela's... free picture and kids' crafts, plus all the outdoor and hunting gear Micah can get her hands on.  It's her favorite store.  I made them all holiday pj pants and asked them to wear it for the picture.  This was the best we could do! Our tree looks decent all lit up! My very talented and wonderful sister made me this sign.  It's 4'x3' and I absolutely LOVE it.  It was the best surprise of my entire life.  She made Ryan make the frame and it goes perfectly with all of the love I have for wheat, Christ (bread of life), baking, and life in general.  The other week in church my friend Allyson (who was giving the lesson) showed us this poster with all the names of Christ. I loved it so much I took a picture. Temple Square with the girls!  We also took Taryn and her friend Kyle, but they refus...

More Christmas Trees

The Saturday after Thanksgiving we continued our tradition of picking out and decorating Oma and Opa's Christmas tree.  Micah found a bear with a tee that Tim wore as a baby (so cute!), and Copper and Dakota worked on a craft.  Everyone decorated the tree. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
