Easter 2011

This year Easter was crazy busy but fun! We did church and both sides of the family. Makes for fun times but pretty exhausting. There may come a time, sooner than later, that when folks want to see us on holidays, they come to us. :) Warning: this may be picture overload. This is the Easter skirt I made Copper.  The important thing is she kept it on and didn't fling it, or her diaper, across the room. First we went to my aunt Penny's for lunch and an egg hunt.  It's been a LONG time since everyone  from my immediate family was in the same place.  Pretty cool.  Plus we got to see my aunt and uncle and their family, and my grandma.  Rare. Cousin Maci Cousin Taryn Cousin Madisyn- yes this is her Easter pose Cousin Cameron Cousin Dax Then we went to Tim's parents.  Copper definitely remembered what to do with her basket.  She'd have eaten sugar and chocolate all night, literally.  Even ate one chocolate bunny with the wrapper still...
I can't help but post this picture I took this morning of Copper.  This is what she does when I ask her to do something she doesn't want to.  Runs to the corner by the door and buries her head.  If she can't see me, I can't see her.  When I say, "Where'd she go?" she pops her head up, stares, and laughs at me.  Too cute.

Taking a break

We've tried taking lots of breaks the past few weeks.  Wait.  Actually, we haven't but keep meaning to.  Besides an incredible amount of doctor's visits for both Copper and I, it seems life is busy, busy, busy.  No wonder we go to bed at 8:30.  Seriously, all of us.  And morning comes too quick.  The latest: Copper:  Sometimes I can't get enough of her.  She's become SUPER affectionate and loves to be close.  When her arms aren't strangling me to death from ginormous hugs, she's sitting right next to me and strokes my arm, leg, neck, hair, etc.  And when she's not doing that, she pulls her socks off and puts her feet on my lap.  When I don't start rubbing immediately, she takes my hand and places it on her feet until I rub them.  It's pretty funny.  She's the pickiest eater alive, which I'm okay with.  I remember being super picky as a kid and I hated people giving me a hard time about it.  Not the end of ...
