Day at the Museum

Lucky that Grandpa works for Lehi City; the kids got to tour the new Children's Museum at Thanksgiving Point before it opens to the public in a few months. I think it's the first time since Christmas that all the grandkids have been together.  A...N...D... we got a picture of them all.  Looking at the camera.  A little March Miracle.  With our new annual pass, we can't wait to go back here and all the other TP venues. Afterward, a little ice cream at the parlour at TP.  All nine kids took up all nine stools.  Pretty fancy.

100 Happy Days #1-4

There's a fun little challenge going around to find something happy everyday for a hundred days. Piece of cake!   1. Wacky dinner days dressed as pirates.  2. The end of a very long day. 3. These two rascals having fun at the babysitter's. 4. These three beautiful girls at Thanksgiving Point.
Micah and Dakota were invited to their first friend birthday party.  They seemed way too young but we talked and they were excited to go.  They helped pick out and wrap presents for Emery.  We had to rewrap Micah's after she opened it right back up. Ha!  They walked right in and Copper and I had a girl's shopping date.  When we picked them back up, the party wasn't quite finished.  It gave me a chance to catch some pretty cute pictures!

Catch up on LIFE!!

Micah's classic "take my picture face"  Piling everything together makes for more fun!   Copper's latest artwork.  She found a child-drawn picture from The Friend and copied it.  It's a family sitting on the couch together, dog on rug at their feet, with a nightstand/lamp, paintings on the wall, and in the middle The Proclamation.  The writing can be tricky but talks about reading and watching things that fill our soul with holiness.  I love it!  She's such a good little artist.  These two... best friends and cousins.  They love time together.  They scream, hug, and jump up and down when they see each other.  If they saw each other twice weekly it wouldn't be enough.  We love Maci!  It's been a while since we've had snow.  In fact, last week it was in the upper 60s!  But when it does snow, these three can be found outside pulling their weight by shoveling.  s ...

Post Birthday Post

Tim turned 32! a few weeks ago.  We celebrated first by having the girls finger paint him a sign.  Painting is quite the ordeal.  Micah striped down completely and walked away with a nice masterpiece on her hiney from wiping her hands on her bum.  Despite the chaos, they had fun and Tim loved it, though we got no picture of his reaction.  We had our annual chocolate-chocolate-chocolate-extra-chocolate cake at Barb and Henry's.  Micah and uncle Steve fit 32! candles on it and they stayed lit long enough to sing.  We had party hats and opened presents and had a great time.    The actual weekend of his birthday, I had reserved a night away in SLC away from the kiddos.  Tim got sick that day and spent the evening in bed, out for the night by eight, and we were home right after check-out time the next morning.  Needless to say, it was not a great get-away, especially for a once-a-year birthday celebration. ...
