Micah looks cute in glasses  :) Tim:  "It's fine..."
Tim and Red have been spending a lot of time together. He won't admit it, but he looooves this pooch.  When Dakota gets really mad at us, she storms off and puts herself to bed.  It's kind of cute. Micah just earned her 3rd stripe for her green belt, which means she'll advance to blue belt after her belt exam next month.  She makes the most progress in individual lessons with Miss Kassie, whom she just loves. Someone is growing up... I borrowed this puzzle from my neighbor. The above is what's on the box, but the actual puzzle is actually what they are all looking at.  It was super fun to do! It was 1000 pieces of the aftermath of a bigot, hahahaha.

Pride, responsibility, the devil, and frienships

Copper was called president of the 12-15 year old young women church class. She picked her two counselors and Micah as her secretary. I snapped this picture of them working together to plan the lesson they are going to co-teach to the group this Sunday.  My heart is bursting with pride for good opportunities for leadership, collaboration, friendship, laughter, and the love they share for the girls we have in our neighborhood. And central to all that, the trust and belief they have in Jesus Christ and their desire to share it. This is our kitty Mia. She had surgery this week and we're hoping it took the devil out of her. That's to be decided...  She hates this cone and I hate it for her. I ordered her a cat onesie she can wear but not touch her incision. I can't wait to put her in it. She's going to look ridiculous... I snapped this picture of Dakota and our fourth daughter Emery at their first mid-week young women activity.  We played human foosball, which ws hilarious....
