I'm sure I haven't told Copper "I'm proud of you" as much as I am. I'm also sure my parents haven't told me that as much as they've thought it, or Tim's parents. It's easier to tell kids everything they're doing wrong, and if they're adult kids, it's nothing they don't already know. Sometimes what kids need is people telling them all that's going right- because there's plenty. I'm super proud of Copper- she's this fantastic little person who lights up every life she touches. I'm also super proud of Tim, who is this incredible strength. He really is such a neat person and an awesome model in my life. And I'm proud of myself, mostly for not falling more behind at home and at work. Look at this face- isn't she fun?
