All the Christmas days

Christmas comes fast and I love the spirit it brings. I'm grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ, for His sacrifice, love, patience, example, and for the love and power of family and faith. I crocheted stockings this year. Finished the day before Christmas Eve, right on time. We also went to my aunt Penny's for the annual brunch and cookie exchange. Got enough treats for neighbor and friend gifts. We spent Christmas Eve at Oma and Opa's. We stuffed ourselves with lasagna and focassia. Dakota face when her cousin opened up a sandwich maker was Priceless (she's wanted one for awhile now), and was pretty stoked when she opened one too.  It was a great night. On Christmas morning we got up around 6:30, opened stocking gifts, and then ate breakfast before digging into anything else. Christmas Bread

I watch the YouTube video of really pretty bread so I decided to try it out this weekend so that if it works I can bring it on Christmas Eve next week. It started off as a shaggy dough. 24 hours later it looked like this.... And 25 hours later it looks like this!! Total amount of hands-on time: 10 minutes Beauty: 10 out of 10

Veggies

Shandee and I sometimes research the gut microbiome, and after our Christmas party on Saturday we went shopping and bought a bunch of vegetables that we don't normally eat. Good rule of thumb is 20-30 fruits and vegetables that you don't normally eat, blend them all up into a disgusting mush, and drink two tablespoons a day. Our gut really loves it. We threw in stuff we had and some of it are things that we do eat regularly, but a lot of it isn't. We got: Endive Okra Pear Orange Pineapple Watermelon radish White beet Orange beet Dandelion leaves Cranberries Carrots, tri-color Broccoli Rutabaga Watercres  Banana Zucchini powder Kale Rainbow chard Spinach Cameron tried it and she didn't die Maci tried it and she almost died The rest of us try to and decided it doesn't taste good but it's definitely not awful. I froze a bunch into tablespoon sizes and started throwing it into smoothies. Nobody would be able to tell the difference!
